Celebrating 20 Years of Pride History and the Role of Black Queer Activism

Date: Monday the 24th of February 12:00 PM GMT

Join us virtually via Zoom.

Join us for an inspiring and thought-provoking event followed by an exciting networking opportunity as we celebrate two decades of Pride history and explore the vital contributions of Black queer activism.

Taking place on Thursday the 20th of February, this event will highlight the struggles, triumphs, and ongoing fight for equality within the LGBTQ+ community, with a particular focus on the voices and leadership of Black queer activists.

We are honoured to be joined by Lady Phyll Opoku-Gyimah, leading activist, CEO & Co-founder of UK Black Pride, and a champion for intersectional LGBTQ+ rights. Known for her relentless advocacy and commitment to justice, Lady Phyll will deliver a powerful keynote address that reflects on the past 20 years of Pride history and the critical role Black queer activists continue to play in shaping the movement.

Whether you are an activist, ally, or community member, this is an opportunity to engage, learn, and be part of a meaningful discussion on the future of LGBTQ+ rights and inclusion.
