Chubb is named the winner of the Link Pride t-shirt competition
For our Insurance Pride 2021 Campaign, we asked companies from across the UK insurance industry to design a t-shirt to promote Pride, the LGBTQ+ community, and the power of inclusion.
Seventeen companies took part and submitted their designs. After a week of voting, during which we received 1,447 votes, Chubb emerged as the winner.
There were so many fantastic designs, it was a very close competition. As one of our committee members said: “They all look amazing. I think it will be a very close call for the winner.” Lockton’s design came second in the voting, followed by CFC.
We would like to thank all the companies who took part and submitted their brilliant and creative designs for the competition:

Between them, the competing firms also raised the largest charitable donation in Link’s eight-year history, with £20,000 going to LGBTQ+ youth homeless charity akt. On top of this, we will also donate funds to LGBTQ+ charities London Friend and the LGBT Foundation.
The awareness raised by this campaign has been fantastic, not just in terms of the number of companies competing and the money raised, but also the number of votes received. This really shows the impact Link has had in terms of raising the profile of the LGBTQ+ community and the importance of inclusion within the industry. It also shows how responsive and supportive many in the industry have become.
We look forward to building on the success of this project to bring people and firms together across the industry to continue to move the dial on LGBTQ+ inclusion.
The winning design will be available for those taking part in London Pride on 11th September with Link. Chubb will be celebrated and awarded a prize at our Link Pride party in September, which will be held at the Ned.
